Darienne Hood
|
My name is Darienne Hood. I am a creator of artistic content. I create images that hold significance through color using traditional materials such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles, as well as non-traditional forms of making that include photography, video work, and sound. My inspiration comes from my journey with emotion and the processes that accompany, such as understanding, self-care, coping, and healing. The principles that guide my decision making come from my core values. When I believe in something strongly, I am led to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal to make it happen.

Built through the deliberate application of structural marks, Ethan focuses on amplifying these localized intimate interactions as a means to which a conversation can be bridged to an unaware audience. It is most important to look at these subjects because as their collective cohesion builds they provide a holistic lens for audiences to view.
